The Big Heat

Dave Bannion is an cop on the trail of a vicious group he supposes holds power over the police force. Bannion is tipped off following a priest's suicide and his fellow officers' silence lead him to believe that they truly are about the gangsters' payroll. Bannion becomes a mad force of justice and vengeance, helped along the way by the gangster girlfriend Debbie, when a bomb designed for him kills his spouse as an alternative. As Bannion and Debbie fall further and further in to the gang-land's insidious and barbarous trap, they must use any means necessary (including murder) to get to the facts.
