Ch?denji Machine Voltes V is a Japanese anime television series which was first aired on TV Asahi starting June 4, 1977. Saburo Yatsude created it and directed by Tadao Nagahama. Voltes V is the next element of this Robot Romance Trilogy of this Super Robot genre that comprises Ch?denji Robo Combattler V and also T?sh? Daimos. Much like Combattler V, the series was first animated by Sun Rise and produced by Toei Company. Sunrise animated the series on the behalf of Toei. This robot along with the super robots appeared that the united states as part of Mattel's Shogun Warriors lineup of import possessions , released in the late 1970s.
