Josie and the Pussycats

Josie and the Pussycats is an animated television show, based up on the same name created by Dan DeCarlo's Archie Comics comic book series. Produced for Saturday morning tv by Hanna-Barbera Productions, sixteen episodes of Josie and the Pussycats aired throughout the 1970-71 tv season on CBS, also so were re run during the 1971-72 season. Back in 1972, the series was in Outer Space, sixteen episodes which aired during the 1972-73 season and so were re run the season. Reruns of the string alternated between CBS, ABC, and NBC from 1974 through 1976. This brought its federal Saturday morning television run to six years on three components. Josie and the Pussycats featured an all-girl pop audio band that toured the entire world with their entourage, getting mixed up in spy capers experiences, and puzzles. On the small-screen, the band contained lead singer and guitarist Josie, bright tambourinist Valerie, and drummer Melody. Other characters contained buff roadie Alan, his conniving sister Alexandra, her kitty Sebastian, and their manager Alexander Cabot III.
