Superbook

Superbook known as Animated Parent and Child Theatre, is an anime television set initially produced by Tatsunoko Productions at Japan in combination and recently solely produced by CBN for broadcast and worldwide distribution. The series chronicled the events of the Bible's Old and New Testaments in its own 52 incident run. The very first 26 episodes aired in October 1, 1981 to March 29, 1982. The series came back as Superbook II with 26 episodes to air from April 4, 1983. Between both show from the run was the companion series The Flying House. The Christian Broadcasting Network is now creating a Superbook series that is new and it has released two episodes. The series was broadcast across Japan on various stations, also on TV Tokyo, Fuji Television, achieving ratings throughout its air run. The English version was aired on CBN Cable, also in syndication. It had been seen to the Trinity Broadcasting Network, however is now off the schedule.
