Roundhay Garden Scene

Louis Aimé Augustin Le Prince using the LPCCP Type-1 MkII single-lens camera celluloid film, and believed second film taken the earliest surviving. It was taken in the backyard of Oak Wood Grange, the Whitley family home in Roundhay, Leeds, West Riding of Yorkshire (UK), maybe on 14 October 1888. It shows Adolphe Le Prince (Le Prince's kid ), Mrs. Sarah Whitley (Le Prince's motherinlaw ), Joseph Whitley along with Miss Harriet Hartley walking round in circles, laughing to themselves and keeping within the area framed by the camera.
