Catterick

Catterick is a Racy 2004 BBC situation comedy in 6 episodes, written by and starring Vic Reeves and Bob Mortimer, Together with Tim Healy, Matt Lucas, Morwenna Banks, Reece Shearsmith, Mark Benton and Charlie Higson. The series was originally broadcast on BBC Three and re run on BBC2. Reeves has stated though he can produce a centring, that the BBC do not want a second collection of Catterick. Catterick is balancing their odd, idiosyncratic comedy with some scenes that are really dark and programme thus far, possibly Vic and Bob's strangest. It resembles a comic road movie, albeit high in Vic and Bob's often inscrutable eccentric and humour. Catterick is most likely Vic and Bob's most uncompromising show since their notorious and baffling 1999 sketch series Bang Bang, It's Reeves and Mortimer, from. It's in certain ways stylistically similar to their short film The Weekenders first broadcast in 1992 on British tv included in Channel 4"Bunch of Five" series. The series is named after Catterick in North Yorkshire. It's roughly 10 miles from Darlington where Vic Reeves climbed up. Where Bob Mortimer climbed up It's also approximately 20 miles away from Middlesbrough.
