The Roy Rogers Show

The Roy Rogers Show is an American Western television show that broadcast one hundred episodes for 2 seasons between December 30, 1951 and June 9, 1957 on NBC. The show starred Roy Rogers like a ranch owner, Dale Evans While the proprietress of this Eureka Cafe in fictional Mineral City, and Pat Brady as Roy's sidekick along with Dale's cook. The jeep Nellybelle of brady needed a mind of her own and sped driverless away with Brady in frantic pursuit by walking. Animal celebrities were Trigger, Roy's Palomino horse along with his german-shepherd wonder dog. The show was filmed at the Samuel Goldwyn Studio, and initially sponsored by General Foods. The show's theme song,"Happy Trails", was compiled by Dale Evans and filmed over the ending credits by Rogers and Evans. The show received an Emmy nomination for Best Western or Adventure Collection in 1955, but it dropped out into the Stories of the Century starring and narrated by Jim Davis. Beginning in 1961, CBS broadcast reruns of The Roy Rogers Show. Re-runs also dipped in France. Reruns are being aired on RFD TV, which sells toys of Trigger and Bullet and tshirts. Reruns are currently now broadcast on local Christian television channel in Florida,"Great Life 4-5".
